The Ronald McDonald House (RMHC) wants to reduce the stress and financial burden for families when they must travel far from home to access medical care for their child. They want to be a home away from home that provides comfort, support, and resources to families.
They usually offer tours of their facilities to showcase the different features and areas but due to COVID they had to stop in-person visits. The inability to show their facility caused Barry Howard, one of the volunteers at the New Hyde Park location to suggest using a Matterport 3D Tour to “walk-through” and show the space to families.
Having previously worked with Signature Premier Properties, RMHC connected with their CEO Kathy Viard to bring this idea to life. And we are beyond honored that Kathy came to us to be a part of this initiative with them.
The possibilities and benefits of these marketing tools are endless and provide such great value for not only the house but for the families interested in touring. We hope that in the future we can provide similar services to more Ronald McDonald House locations throughout the nation.
